Dowd Commits
to Niagara University
Bensenville, IL (November 21st, 2007)
--The Chicago Steel are pleased to announce that forward
Brian Dowd has committed to Niagara University (CHA) for
the 2008-2009 season.
This is the first year in the USHL for Dowd, who
played for Thayer Prep Academy last -year. He currently
has a 1-6-7 line.
“We are happy for Brian that he has
gotten his commitment. It was a school that has been
interested since day 1 and it is our job to make sure he
is ready for Niagara next year, said Head Coach/GM Steve
Poapst.”
Niagara University is apart of the
CHA and is currently 8-3-0 on the season.
The Steel face-off against Indiana this Friday night and
Waterloo Saturday night.
