Steel at Home for Weekend Against Lincoln

Bensenville, IL (December 12th, 2007) -- The Chicago Steel will be facing off against the Lincoln Stars on Friday, December 14th and Saturday, December 15th at the Edge Ice Arena.  The Steel look to bounce back from Tuesday’s 3-1 loss vs. the Waterloo Black Hawks.  Chicago was 8 for 8 on the penalty kill in Tuesday’s loss and go into this weekend’s match-up with a record of 8-11-3, while the Lincoln Stars have a record of 9-12-2. 

This weekend fans can bring a new and unwrapped toy to the games and receive your ticket for only $2.00.  The Steel are holding a toy drive and all the toys will be donated to the children at the Ronald McDonald House at Loyola University Medical Center.  The gates will open at 6:30 p.m. and the puck will drop at 7:30 p.m. both nights.  Friday Night is Puck Cancer Night.  For every ticket sold, the Steel will donate $1.00 to Puck Cancer in their fight to help those affected by cancer.  Saturday night is ATI Foundation Night.  The Steel will be doing Chuck-A-Van during the second intermission and all proceeds will be donated to the ATI Foundation.  Also, kids can come out and get their picture taken with Santa on Saturday night.
