Dolan Commits to Wisconsin

Bensenville, IL (March 11th, 2007) -- The Chicago Steel have announced that forward Sean Dolan has committed to the Wisconsin Badgers (WCHA) for the 2007 season.

A native of Chesterfield, MO, Dolan is in his first season with the Steel after being acquired in the summer from the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders. He has previously played with the Indiana Ice and Cedar Rapids. Dolan currently has a 18-16-34 scoring line in 45 games with the Steel this season.

Dolan becomes the twelfth Steel player to commit to a NCAA Division I school this year.

"Sean is experiencing a season which a lot of evaluators have been waiting for from him," said Steel General Manager Jason Koehler. "He's finally been in a role that suits him and his abilities and has been one of our top forwards in a top scoring line center role all season. Having an opportunity to play for Wisconsin was one of the goals that Sean set for himself this season, and we're proud of him for accomplishing that dream."

Wisconsin is a member of the WCHA Division I college hockey level. They are currently 17-17-4 on the season.
