Steel Acquire Beebe

Bensenville (November 18, 2008) - The Steel are proud to announce that they have acquired Forward Brett Beebe from the Waterloo Black Hawks.  Beebe is a second year player in the USHL, playing in 41 games registering 5 goals and 4 assists with 76 PIM’s.  “It’s good to add a player with USHL experience and will be able to contribute to our lineup right away.  He is a skilled, gritty forward that is durable and is what we are looking for character within the organization” said Assistant Coach Jon Waibel. 

The Steel return to home ice at The Edge Ice Arena this weekend when they face off against the Omaha Lancers Friday night and the Sioux City Musketeers on Saturday night, the puck is set to drop at 7:35 pm both nights.  Get your tickets in advance by calling the Steel box office at 630.594.1165.
