Clinches Final Playoff Spot in Eastern Division
Bensenville, IL (March 28th, 2008)
-- The Chicago Steel is proud to announce that they have
clinched the final playoff spot in the Eastern Division.
Currently at this time, the Steel are unsure on who
their opponent will be due to the tight race between
second, third and forth place. After the Steel's
6-1 win over Ohio on Friday Night at the Edge Ice Arena
in Bensenville, Chicago is only 3 points back from Cedar
Rapids in 3rd place, and 5 points back from Waterloo who
is currently in 2nd place.
The Steel have 4 games remaining, 2 of which are
against Ohio, one against Cedar Rapids, and one against
Green Bay.
Chicago
returns back to the Edge on Friday April 4th, and
Saturday April 5th. Saturday
night is fan
appreciation night and tickets are still available.
