Nicastro Drafted In 3rd Round

Bensenville, IL (June 25th,  2008) --  Steel Defenseman Max Nicastro was selected by the Detroit Red Wings last Saturday in the NHL Entry Draft.  Detroit chose Max in the 3rd round, with the 91st overall pick. 

Nicastro is coming off a solid year as he earned top-pairing minutes while recording six goals and 14 assists in 58 games.  Max also played for Team USA in the 2007 World Junior A Challenge. 

Nicastro will be returning to Chicago next season, and then he will be headed  to Boston University in 2009.
