Poapst To Be
At Hawks Convention
Bensenville, IL (July 15th, 2008)
-- Come meet and greet Chicago Steel Head Coach and
General Manager Steve Poapst at the Chicago Blackhawks
Convention this coming weekend. Poapst played in 220
games with the Blackhawks in his four seasons with the
team (2000-2004) registering 7 goals and 23 assists in
that time frame. Poapst was also named the USHL
Head Coach of the Year last season, as he led the Steel
to regular season record of 32-22-6.
The Blackhawks Convention will take place at the Hilton
Chicago (720 S. Michigan Avenue) July 18-20th.
The convention will open up on Friday the 18th
at 5pm with opening ceremonies, and it will run on
Saturday from 9am – 7pm and Sunday from 9am-2pm.
