Steel Alumni Skates at Blackhawks Prospect Camp


Bensenville, IL (July 3rd,  2008) -- The Chicago Steel are proud to announce that former player Matt Godlewski has been invited to the Chicago Blackhawks Prospect Camp.  Godlewski, a left shot defenseman, played with the Chicago Steel for two seasons (2005-2006 and 2006-2007) totaling 102 games with a 5-14-19 line.  Matt currently plays for Princeton University, where he played in 32 games with a 1-2-3 line for the Tigers. 

 In Matt’s last season with the Steel, he was elected team captain.   

Joining Godlewski in prospects camp will be 4 other USHL alumni.  The USHL alumni include; Peter MacArthur (Waterloo), Mike Radja (Waterloo) Joseph Fallon (Cedar Rapids) and Brian Connelly (Tri-City).    

The Prospect Camp is held at The Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville.
