Tough Road Weekend

Bensenville, IL (November 15, 2009) -
The
Chicago Steel (8-5-2) came into Ann Arbor looking to
halt a three game road losing streak which dates back to
November 6th against Fargo.
The Ann Arbor Igloo treated the Steel well on their last
visit, a Chicago victory 5-1 to open the season way back
on October 2nd.
Steel goalie Nick Pisellini (Western Michigan) was back
in goal after taking Friday night off against
Youngstown.
The Steel offense was hard pressed to manage much of an
attack with merely nine shots on goal against Team USA’s
Jack Campbell through the first two periods.
Pisellini did his best to keep the Steel in it for the
majority of the game, having turned away 26 straight
shots by USA. However, the levy broke in the 3rd
period when Team USA scored all four of their goals
within the first nine minutes.
The 4-0 shutout is the Steel’s fourth straight loss
away from the Edge Ice Arena.
The Steel will now head home looking to rebound when
they play host to Waterloo Friday November 20th.
Tickets can be purchased by calling the Chicago Steel
ticket office at (630) 594-1165. |
