Chicago Steel 2009-2010 Schedule Announced

Bensenville (July 16th, 2009) -- With a final schedule in place, the Chicago Steel is set to kickoff its 2009-2010 season on Friday October 2nd against Team USA. The first game in the two-game weekend series will be held at Team USA’s home rink in Ann Arbor, MI at 7:05p.m. The following night the Steel will welcome fans to its first official home game, as the two teams travel to Bensenville for a 7:30p.m. game held at The Edge Ice Arena. Team USA and Chicago will meet again Sunday November 15th in Ann Arbor, followed by two home matches on November 27th and March 19th. After an opening weekend against Team USA the Steel will stay in town and host two home games against Waterloo, Friday October 9th, and Youngstown, Sunday October 11th.  

In addition, the first home game has been designated as a Skate with the Steel night. The event will give kids the opportunity to skate with and meet Steel players after the October 3rd game. Skate rentals will be available to those wishing to participate.  

The Steel currently has 60 scheduled USHL games, 30 of which will be held at The Edge in Bensenville, ending its regular season at home on Saturday April 3rd against Indiana.
