Carpenter Commits To Western Michigan

Bensenville, IL (July 27th, 2010) - The Chicago Steel Hockey Team is proud to announce that Alex Carpenter (member of the Chicago Steel since 2008) has made a commitment to Western Michigan University for the 2011-2012 season. The 1991 born native from Portage, MI has played in 59 games in the 2009-2010 Chicago Steel season, and a total of 68 games throughout his Steel career. He has racked up a total of 15 goals, 11 assists, and 26 points. His numbers are expected to rise even higher this season when he continues his career with the Chicago Steel.

Carpenter will be joining Chicago Steel alumni Nick Pisellini (2007-2010), and Brett Beebe (2008-2009) to play with the Western Michigan Bronco Hockey Team. Last season, the Broncos had an overall record of 8-20-8.
