Toys For Tots Drive
(October 29th, 2011) - Prior to the game on November
19th against the Dubuque Fighting Saints, the
Chicago Steel and the Dupage County Marine Detachment
399 are hosting a Toys for Tots drive at The Edge Ice
Arena. The Steel organization is encouraging fans to
bring unwrapped toys to the game.
By bringing in toys, fans will help brighten the
holidays for the needy children in the Chicagoland area.
Every fan that brings a toy to the game will receive a
voucher for a free ticket to a pre-determined game in
December.
Toys for Tots has been one of the
nations most charitable organizations for over 50 years.
The organization's objective is to help less fortunate
children throughout the United States experience the joy of
the holidays. This is a chance for the Steel fans to
join one of the most rewarding charities anyone can be
apart of especially with the spirit of the holidays
rapidly filling the air.
