Bensenville, IL (March 27, 2011) -
Theo DiPauli had a goal and an assist for Chicago, but Dubuque got goals from Tyler Lundey, John Gaudreau, Riley Barber and TJ Moor as the Fighting Saints went on for a 4-2 victory.

Dubuque jumped out to a 1-0 lead at the 14:12 mark of the first period on Lundey’s score.

Tim Weber knotted the score with a break-away goal at 15:45 in the first, beating Dubuque goalie Matt Morris glove side.
Two more goals in the second made the Fighting Saints’ lead swell to 3-1.

DiPauli countered with a goal at the 14:58 point in the second stanza. But Dubuque’s Moor gave the Saints a 4-2 lead with 4:04 left in the contest.

Connor Wilson made 35 saves for Chicago in the loss.

The Chicago Steel would like to thank all fans, housing families, volunteers and interns for their support and generosity this season. We look forward to seeing you next October when the Steel take to the ice for the 2011-2012 season.

This year’s selection camp will take June 9-15 at the Edge Ice Arena and is open to the public.
