2011 - 2012 Schedule Released
Bensenville, IL (July 27, 2011) -  The Chicago Steel is proud to announce that the 2011-2012 schedule has been released.  The Steel organization is excited about this season's schedule and looks forward to a fun and successful year.  For the full schedule, click here. 

The Steel will host their 2011-2012 home opener on Friday, October 7th at 7:30 pm against the Youngstown Phantoms at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville. The organization is confident in this year's team and is guaranteeing a victory on opening night. If the Steel do not win this matchup versus Youngstown, all fans that purchased a full price ticket will receive a free ticket voucher to the December 28th game versus Sioux Falls.

Leading the Steel this season is Head Coach Scott McConnell and newly appointed Assistant Coach RJ Enga. The 2011-2012 team includes Steel veterans Joel Bensen, Aiden Cavallini, Jimmy Devito, Theo DiPauli, Chris Joyaux, Zach Saar and Jaccob Slavin. The team has also added Brian Christie, the first overall draft pick and Ryan Trenz, the seventh overall draft pick in the 2011 USHL Entry draft to the roster. The rest of team is comprised of draft picks and players selected at the Steel Selection Camp. All Steel coaches, players, and staff are looking forward to a competitive and successful season.
