Training Camp Roster Released
Bensenville, IL (July 5, 2011) -  The Chicago Steel are excited to announce that they have released their 2011-2012 Training Camp Roster.  The players selected to the roster will all compete to play for their spot on the 23 man roster which is due at the beginning of the season. 

The roster consists of 2 Goaltenders, 8 Defenseman and 16 Forwards, which includes Steel veterans Joel Bensen, Aidan Cavallini, Jimmy Devito, Theo DiPauli, Steven Fogarty (3rd Round, 72nd overall pick - New York Rangers - 2011 NHL Draft), Chris Joyaux, Zach Saar and Jaccob Slavin. 

The roster also includes both of the Steel’s first round picks from the 2011-2012 USHL Entry Draft; first overall draft pick, Brian Christie and the seventh overall pick, Ryan Trenz. 

The roster is rounded out with entry draft picks, futures draft picks and players selected from the Steel selection camp.

You can get your firs glimpse of the 2011-2012 Chicago Steel roster in Early September as they report to Chicago to prepare for the upcoming season.
