Jerseys for all 2019-2020 Steel players and mascot Rusty are available for auction with a minimum bid of $100. The one-of-a-kind jerseys sport a black and gray digital camouflage pattern with an American flag patch on the left side of the chest. The shoulders of the specialty jerseys are solid black with McCue Chevy patches on both sides, the sponsor who made the jersey auction possible. Net proceeds will benefit Wounded Warrior Project, assisting veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness or wound while serving in the military on or after September 11, 2001.
The jerseys were scheduled to be worn for the team’s Military Appreciation/Hometown Heroes night on March 14, 2020 prior to the USHL’s season suspension and subsequent cancellation.
