Oleksiak logs playoff career-high in ice time

The 6-foot-7, 255-pound blueliner had a big physical impact on three games for the Dallas Stars this week. Oleksiak registered six hits during 20:32 of ice time in a 4-0 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday, matching the second-most hits recorded in his Stanley Cup Playoffs career.

The Toronto, Ontario, native helped the Stars to a 2-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Sunday, to secure the third seed in the Western Conference.

Oleksiak logged 24:17 of time on ice in Game 1 of the First Round against the Calgary Flames, the most in his playoff career. Although he notched a helper and led the club with six hits, the Stars fell by a 3-2 score in the opening contest of the series.

Jaccob Slavin - Carolina Hurricanes

Jaccob Slavin became the first Carolina Hurricanes defenseman to record more than 35 minutes of ice time in a playoff game when he logged 37:03 in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Boston Bruins in Game 1 of the best-of-7 series. The former Steel blueliner shared the team lead with four blocked shots and added five hits in the loss.

Mackenzie MacEachern - St. Louis Blues

The 26-year-old forward made his Stanley Cup Playoffs debut during round-robin action in a 6-4 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday. MacEachern registered one shot on goal with three hits through 8:00 of ice time. 

Following a 2-1 loss to the Dallas Stars on Sunday, the Blues will enter the First Round as the fourth seed in the Western Conference to take on the Vancouver Canucks.

John Moore - Boston Bruins

Moore did not see action this week as the Boston Bruins fell 3-2 to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday and dropped a 2-1 decision to the Washington Capitals on Sunday.

The Bruins took Game 1 of their first-round series against the Carolina Hurricanes with a 4-3 overtime win on Wednesday.

Dan Vladar - Boston Bruins

Vladar, the netminder from Prague, Czech Republic, did not dress for the final two contests of round robin action or the Game 1 win against the Carolina Hurricanes in the first round.

After falling 3-2 to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday and a 2-1 loss against the Washington Capitols on Sunday, the Bruins entered the Stanley Cup Playoffs as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Alec Regula - Chicago Blackhawks

The 20-year-old blueliner did not see action for the Chicago Blackhawks this week.

Chicago closed out their Stanley Cup Qualifiers round against the Edmonton Oilers with a 4-3 win in Game 3 on Wednesday and a 3-2 victory in Game 4 on Friday to clinch the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

The Blackhawks fell 4-1 in Game 1 against the top-seeded Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday.
